About
1 BACB® GEN Video modeling is one of the most versatile, evidence-based, and neurodivergent-affirming tools available to clinicians, but many providers only use a fraction of its potential. In this collaborative CEU, an occupational therapist and BCBA come together to explore five powerful, functional applications of video modeling that support regulation, daily living skills, communication, motor development, and meaningful participation across settings. Through real examples and cross-disciplinary perspectives, participants will learn how video modeling can be adapted to diverse sensory, motor, cognitive, and communication needs. We will break down when to use each type of model, how to pair them with prompting and reinforcement strategies, and common pitfalls to avoid. Clinicians will leave with practical, ready-to-implement ideas they can use immediately in home, clinic, school, and community environments. This course is designed for BCBAs, OTs, SLPs, RBTs, educators, and any professional interested in building effective, strengths-based learning tools that promote independence and success.
